Kumar Nitin

  • CFA, MFA
  • Co-Founder, Skillern Academy
  • 15+ years in curriculum development

Kumar Nitin founded Ganit Sutra and personally built its Vedic Maths curriculum from the ground up, from quick multiplication and squares to the culturally-rooted techniques that make the subject memorable, like calendar calculations, birthday number tricks, and Japanese multiplication. He still co-teaches introductory sessions himself and mentors every new faculty member who joins, making sure the programme stays true to the approach he built it on.

Vedic Maths Faculty

Sneha Murthy

  • B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (VTU)
  • Background as a software engineer
  • Fluent in Kannada, English, Telugu, and Hindi

Sneha came to Vedic Maths from an unlikely direction: a software engineering career, not a classroom. When she first stepped in to teach it, it was a subject she had never taught before, and she wasn't sure the fit was right. What she leaned on instead was an engineer's comfort with logic and pattern, and a genuine curiosity to make the sixteen classical sutras her own before teaching them to anyone else. That curiosity became her teaching style: she doesn't drill technique, she tells stories. Birthday number tricks, Japanese multiplication, calculations tied to local festivals, all built to make a student ask “how does that work?” before she ever explains it. Her fluency in Kannada lets those stories feel local rather than borrowed. She currently teaches Grade 6 and 7 students.
